I'm new to all this, where do I start?
Welcome! Tell us what aspect of the hobby excites you. Collecting? Painting? Playing? Whatever it is, we're here to be a guide on your pathway to this glorious pastime.
The first step is talking to the community. Turn up at one of our nights and say hi! Alternatively, join and introduce yourself in our WhatsApp Community, our facebook or meetup group or reach out via Instagram or email.
Do I have to be a member to participate?
​Your monthly membership covers you, plus a guest for any of our regular socials at our venue and discount on some events.
If you want to come to one of our social nights and you're not a member, your first is free - see if you like it!
If you don't decide to sign up, there will be a standard charge plus a refundable deposit if you need to borrow anything.
Do I need to bring anything?
It's up to you! If you have your own models, bring them. If you have your own games you want to play, bring them.
If not, Clubhouse has you covered - with everything from house armies and terrain, to board games, ready to play.
How often does Clubhouse meet?
Clubhouse currently runs to the following schedule:
MONDAY Role Playing Games Night 1830>2230
TUES/THURS Social Games. Anything Goes. 1830>2230
WEDNESDAY TableTop Night! 1830>2230

Can I just chill and paint?
Yes! We'll usually have an area you can sit and paint if you like, and we'll soon be hosting dedicated nights and classes for this.

If you want to bring your own, that's cool, but we do have an array of paints available for our members to use - and there's always something in our pile of shame if you don't want to use your own minis!
Do you have any rules?
Although we have no parking of our own, It's central Newcastle, there's plenty of parking nearby! Here's a quick guide, but check the individual car parks and their conditions.
Where can I park?
1 & 2 - Newcastle City Council - Pay by Phone ~£1.80 / hr but free after 7pm
3 - NCP £1.45 1hr / £2.95 2hrs / £4.45 3hrs / £5.95 4hrs or £8.50 for 24hrs
4 - The Copthorne Hotel £2.50 / hr at all times
5 - Stephenson Quarter £1.30 1hr / £2.50 2hrs / £3.60 3hrs / £4.60 4hrs / £6 12hrs / £12 24hrs

There is also unallocated parking on Skinnerburn Road (bottom left), however this is at your own risk.
